Californians for GE-Free Agriculture The Californians for GE-Free Agriculture Coalition is unique in that it brings together farmer-based organizations with consumer and environmental groups to halt the introduction of economically and ecologically destructive genetically engineered (GE) crops. Our mission is to stop new GE crop plantings in California.

Campaign for Responsible Transplantation - The Campaign for Responsible Transplantation (CRT) was launched outof concern over the irresponsible rush to commercialize animal-to-human organ, cell and tissue transplantation (xenotransplantation) using genetically modified pigs, and nonhuman primates. CRT's international coalition includes more than 90 public interest groups, representing millions of people concerned about the misuse of genetic engineering technology.

The Campaign to Label Genetically Engineered Food - Mission Statement: "To create a national grassroots consumer campaign for the purpose of lobbying Congress and the President to pass legislation that will require the labeling of genetically engineered foods in the United States."

Canadian Coalition for Genetic Fairness - Working to prevent genetic discrimination for all Canadians.

Center for Democracy and Technology- The Center for Democracy and Technology is a non-profit public interest organization working to keep the Internet open, innovative, and free. With expertise in law, technology, and policy, CDT seeks practical solutions to enhance free expression and privacy in communications technologies. CDT is dedicated to building consensus among all parties interested in the future of the Internet and other new communications media.

The Center for Food Safety CFS works to protect human health and the environment by curbing the proliferation of harmful food production technologies and by promoting organic and other forms of sustainable agriculture. CFS engages in legal, scientific and grassroots initiatives to guide national and international policymaking on critical food safety issues.

Center for Genetics and Society The Center for Genetics and Society is a nonprofit information and public affairs organization working to encourage responsible uses and effective societal governance of the new human genetic and reproductive technologies. We work with a growing network of scientists, health professionals, civil society leaders, and others.

Citizen's Center for Biohazard Prevention - Founded in 1999, the Citizen's Center for Biohazard Prevention aims to warn the public about the potential risks associated with biocontainment facilities and the inconsistent regulation they are subject to.

Coalition for Genetic Fairness- Founded in 1997 the CGF led the effort to successfully pass the Genetic Information Non-Discrimination Act in the United States.  It continues to bring together all parties to raise awareness of GINA and ensure strong regulation of its protections.

Consumers' Union Consumers Union, publisher of Consumer Reports, is an independent, nonprofit testing and information organization serving only consumers.

Electronic Privacy Information Center- EPIC is a public interest research center in Washington, D.C. It was established in 1994 to focus public attention on emerging civil liberties issues and to protect privacy, the First Amendment, and constitutional values.

Food First! - The Institute for Food and Development Policy, better known as Food First, is a member-supported, nonprofit 'peoples' think tank and education-for-action center.

Genetic Engineering Action Network The Genetic Engineering Action Network (GEAN) is a diverse network of grassroots activists, national and community non-governmental organizations (NGOs), farmer and farm advocacy groups, academics and scientists who have come together to work on the myriad of issues surrounding biotechnology.

Genetics and Public Policy Center The Center works to help policy leaders, decision makers, and the public better understand the rapidly evolving field of human genetics and its application to healthcare. Studying the human genome will lead to a clearer picture of the role of genetics in health and disease, which in turn will help drive the development of new diagnostic tools and treatments. But the same technologies raise a host of ethical, legal and social concerns. To inform genetic policy decisions, the Center surveys public attitudes about genetics issues, conducts analyses of the existing regulatory landscape, monitors the transition of genetic applications into clinical practice, and posits options and likely outcomes of key genetics policies.

Gene Campaign Gene Campaign, a grassroots level organisation with a presence in 17 states of India, was started in 1993 by Dr. Suman Sahai and a group of people concerned about food and livelihood security. Gene Campaign is recognized as a leading research and advocacy organisation working in the field of bioresources, farmers' and community rights, intellectual property rights and indigenous knowledge, biopiracy, issues related with GE food and crops.

Generations Ahead Generations Ahead works with organizations around the country to expand the public debate on the social and ethical implications of genetic technologies. We look at the benefits and consequences to different communities, and build the capacity of social justice organizations to take more informed positions and advocate for socially just policies.

GeneWatch UK - is an independent organisation concerned with the ethics and risks of genetic engineering. It questions how, why and whether the use of genetic technologies should proceed and believes that the debate over genetic engineering is long overdue.

Green.tv Green.tv is a broadband TV channel devoted to environmental films. It is supported by the United Nations Environment Programme and is dedicated to educating the public on environmental issues that will shape our world in the coming years.

The National Breast Cancer Coalition - The National Breast Cancer Coalition is a grassroots advocacy organization dedicated to fighting breast cancer.
